Exchange Traded Funds

What Are ETFs

An exchange-traded fund (ETF) is an investment fund, similar to a mutual fund, however it is traded on a stock exchange just like an individual stock.  An ETF will holds assets such as stocks, commodities, or bonds and they are designed to trade at, or very close to, the net asset value of the underlying securities it holds.

The Benefits of ETF Portfolios

ETF based portfolios can achieve significant asset diversification yet remain customizable and highly liquid. The portfolios are rebalanced regularly ensuring clients' investment objectives are being met. Lower minimum asset sizes allow for smaller accounts, such as TFSAs, to benefit from professional discretionary money management usually only available to higher net worth clients.
